GEC Associates, Inc.'s administrative and senior management staff is composed of licensed General Contractors, Underground Utility & Excavation Contractor, Architects, Construction Management graduates and other professional personnel who have extensive backgrounds in all areas of design and construction with the skills encompassing all aspects of project management, design, construction services, civil engineering and construction scheduling.
To date, GEC Associates, Inc. has successfully completed well over 175 JOC type work orders for US GSA, Miami Dade County Public Schools, City of Miami and City of Miami Beach.
GEC Associates, Inc. has extensive Job Order Contract (JOC) experience providing construction services for complex renovation and new construction projects to local, state and federal government agencies as well as other public sector institutional concerns throughout the state of Florida. Presently, GEC’s Miami office provides construction / renovation as well as A/E services on a multitude of projects that are spread out throughout the State Florida. GEC has demonstrated time and time again of its ability to successfully deliver projects to the government both on time and on budget.
GEC Associates, Inc. new construction and renovation team have time proven ability to perform concurrent and simultaneous Task Orders. GEC has successfully demonstrate that it has in place proven management techniques, sufficient resources and personnel to carry out simultaneous/concurrent Task Orders throughout the State of Florida.
GEC Associates, Inc. St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay office has provided new construction and renovation services to GSA throughout Florida’s West Coast Region for renovation projects at Tampa’s Timberlake Annex Federal Building and the Orlando Federal Building. GEC’s St. Petersburg/Tampa Bay office has also provided construction and renovation services at federal facilities located at Ocala, Leesburg, Lakeland, Clearwater and at the Bay Pines VA Medical Center. Additionally, GEC’s other West Coast management office located in Cape Coral, Florida has provided Construction Manager and Architectural services to Eurotech Development, LLC.
To demonstrate GEC Associates, Inc. excellent level of successful performance, knowledge and qualifications, we have attached a copy of a letter from the City of Miami Department of Capital Improvements expressing their appreciation for the successful completion of the Orange Bowl Light Tower Project (a very complex project – due to logistic and time constraints) not only on budget, but one month ahead of schedule. GEC has demonstrated time and time again its ability to successfully deliver projects to all agencies by providing true value engineering both on time & on budget, with all the required warranties and guarantees.

$290,000 site work, installation of trench drains at playfield composed HDPE pipe and catch basins, grading and re-sodding of approximate 2 acres playfield at Jane Roberts Elementary School for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

$270,000 site work, installation trench drains at courtyards and walkways composed of HDPE pipe and catch basins. Modification of existing sidewalks to accommodate new drainage areas and asphalt resurfacing at Twin Lakes Elementary for Miami-Dade County Public Schools.

$750,000 of site work and electronic controls and distribution system for the fuel farm at the Opa-Locka Coast Guard Air Station.

$300,000 HVAC & PA Clock replacement at South Dade Skill Center for Miami-Dade County Public Schools (See attached commendation letter).

3 + million dollar interior demolition, renovation and new interior construction to two floors of Jackson Memorial Hospital under the supervision and inspections of the State of Florida Agency for Health Care Administration (AHCA).

$800,000 demolition, new construction and renovation project for the public works department facilities at the US Coast Guard Air Station, Opa-Locka Florida.

Construction of 2 + million dollar addition to the control tower at Miami International Airport. Project involved inspections and oversight from a variety of Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) inspectors and technical staff to ensure that on-going traffic controller activities were not interrupted at any time.
